EP 98 : Serious Mental Illness: A Story of Recovery with Amanda Webster

Published: Oct. 13, 2020, 6 p.m.

Mental illness is a very grey topic and a vague area because as much as we do know about it, our most predominant medical structure that exists, in the western world at least, is fixated on the physical reality of things and because we have a seeming lack of knowledge in relation to the physicality of what happens in our brain, or wherever our thoughts and feelings happen it result we can find ourselves “lost in the woods” if the very small number of support options we are presented fail. Today’s poddy is a really great chat with the inner working of a mind that has been there and got the t-shirt and come out the other side, now empowering others to do the same.

In Today’s Episode We Cover:

Amanda’s journey with antidepressants and prescription medications
The limitations of the conventional mental health approach
Tips to take better control of the direction of your life
