MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU: Duel of the Fates

It is every galactic geek's favorite holiday, International Star Wars Day, or as it is also know May the Fourth! We could think of only one way to celebrate: talk about a Star Wars movie that was never made.

In perhaps our most niche and nerdy episode of all time we are traveling to the Outer Rim to explore what could have been in the Skywalker Saga. Namely, we are looking at the Colin Trevorow proposed Episode Nine: Duel of the Fates. If you are a Star Wars fan you may know of the fabled sliding blast doors of Episode 9. Trevorow left the final installment of the Skywalker Saga and with it his concept art and script for what would have been a very different concluding chapter than Rise of Skywalker. Our good friend, and third mic, Anthony Desanctis came to us with a premise: what if we watch the motion comic of this film and YouTube and answer for one and for all: How could you not make the film Duel of the Fates?!

Is this the best way to celebrate May the Fourth? Will Anthony and Ryan feel more satisfied by Duel of the Fates? Will Lauren put down her light saber and concede her love of Rise of Skywalker? Listen to find out!
