Dana shares with us about her first year working as a doctor and how she was surprised by the extreme overwhelm and lack of support that she experienced. She was right out of medical school and when she sought help, it was suggested to her that she seek counseling privately (off record) in fear that she might lose her job.

The more she dug into the topic, the more she learned that there was an underlying problem in the medical community that had to be addressed. There were many junior and senior doctors who were secretly struggling and there was nowhere to turn.
