Jill is a survivor of sexual assault and she courageously shares her experience with us. She talks about the impact that the violent assault had on her, both physically and emotionally. She lost her confidence, felt shame and blamed herself. She was afraid to share with others. She fell into a depression and began a number of self harming behaviours. Through support and counselling, Jill has now on the road to recovery and she is amazed at how healing sharing her story with others has been for both herself and other survivors. She hope that by opening up to others, she will empower them to share their stories as well and seek support. Jill now supports Rainlily, the sexual violence crisis centre in Hong Kong and she has started her own hub for wellness and a space to slow down called Pause Studio and she is raising money for Rainlily with her Pause for a Cause initiative.
