b'Today on the Second Sunday of Luke Father Micah expounds on both the Epistle and Gospel of the day. In the Epistle taken from II Corinthians Saint Paul says, Brethren, you are the temple of the living God; and as God said, \\u201cI will live in them and move among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people\\u201d. Jesus says in today\\u2019s Gospel taken from Luke 6:31-36, \\u201clove your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High\\u201d. Our Lord tell us that the world will know we are His disciples if we have love for one another. This love within us that finds expression toward others is described by St. Cosmas of Aetolia as a glorious throne where God can sit and rule over our lives. The saints in The Church place a substantial weight on not only loving those who love us, but on loving our enemies. Christ gives us the meaning of loving our enemies when at His Crucifixion He calls out to God and says, forgive them for they do not know what they do. Loving our enemies and those who have hurt us seems impossible and admittedly it is; except for the Grace of God. Father Micah encourages us that if we find ourselves struggling to love and forgive, we should turn to Christ and humble ourselves before Him and He will give us the Grace and strength needed to love and forgive.'
