b'Today is the first Sunday of Great Lent and we commemorate the restoration of Holy Icons to the Church. We live in interesting times these days. The ability to communicate and travel across the world is immeasurable and yet we are disconnected from the world and each other. The Icon reminds us that it is about Him and our nearness to Christ and the Saints. The Icon reminds us that matter matters because God became man and identified with humans.'
