We are so excited to share this episode with you! It is the very first of our Shero Series where we share and discuss the herstories of women we think don't get enough recognition. In this first episode, we are highlighting three incredible women: - Isatou Ceesay, a climate Shero and women's rights advocate - Sonia Sotomayor, the first Hispanic and Latina Justice Shero - Margaret Sanger, a trailblazing shero for women's reproductive healthcare We hope to do more of these episodes so please let us know any other sheroes you think we should discuss: Instagram - @hertakepodcast Twitter - @hertakepod Do note, we did not coin the term Shero ourselves. We tried to find who first came up with the term to give credit where credit is due and according to Merriam-Webster, the first known use of the word was in 1836. Go figure. Surprised we're still so far behind, smh.
