As a continuation of our mini series about kids and local resources for families, we are highlighting a team of young engineers and coders who have recently made it to the WORLD\\xa0 CHAMPIONSHIPS!\\xa0 Meet the Taper Robotics team of 5th graders who have qualified to compete in the 2023 Vex Robotics World Championship in Dallas Texas; Irene, Simon, Sophia and today\\u2019s guests Enzo Molinari and Alex Parker. In this episode they share what it was like to be a part of Taper Elementary School\\u2019s first robotics team and compete on the local level, state level and now be invited to compete internationally. Also in the studio: Enzo\\u2019s parents, Ree and Jean-Philippe as well as Alex\\u2019s mom Marcia. As President of the Taper\\xa0 PTO, Marcia has led the team\\u2019s fundraising efforts and also provides some additional context for this conversation. \\xa0 The World Championship competition is on May 1st but there\\u2019s still time to support the team if you\\u2019re interested.
