Have you ever felt left out of a conversation or not welcome somewhere because you have a child in tow? Upon entering motherhood after completing graduate school at Columbia University at 34 weeks pregnant, this is exactly what Sarah Lux-Lee came to find. With the desire to continue to be part of professional and intellectual experiences, Sarah ran a successful experiment in Brooklyn which led to the launch of Mindr. Mindr runs talks, workshops, classes, and events with global experts where crying babies are always welcome. Sarah chats with us about motherhood, entrepreneurship, the motherhood penalty, the concept of "having it all," and what parental leave is like in Australia.
