b"Matilda the Musical was a movie musical adaptation of the musical of the same name, which itself was a musical adaptation of children's book author Roald Dahl's famous story. It featured a cast of Alisha Weir, Lashana Lynch, Stephen Graham, Andrea Riseborough, and Emma Thompson, and like the original musical it was adapted from featured a soundtrack of songs by British-Australian comedian Tim Minchin. It followed a story similar to the original novel, following the adventures of the titular Matilda, a girl much smarter than her peers, as she attempts to navigate the English school system and her uncaring parents.
