The premise of the show is that Johnny Dollar is a freelance insurance investigator with an action-packed expense account. He was always ready to fly to far corners of the country for a cut of recovered goods. He had an analytical mind, a nose for trouble, and the brawn to take care of himself if the going got tough. Bob Bailey did an excellent job portraying the character of Johnny Dollar. There were several other actors who appeared, but Bailey was the one the fans liked the most.
