Spoiler alert.... Secret word is "Milk"... Yes, Groucho Marx is back with another episode of the classic American comedy quiz series "You Bet Your Life". The announcer/assistant was George Fenneman. The show began on ABC radio on October 27, 1947, moved to CBS in 1949 and then to NBC in 1950. The show was simultaneously broadcast on radio and television with the last episode airing on radio June 10, 1960. The television version continued another year, but with a new name "The Groucho Show" Gameplay on this show was secondary to Groucho's comedic interplay with the contestants and Fenneman. The program was rerun in the 1970s and later in syndication as "The Best of Groucho"... it was the first game show to have repeat episodes in the syndication market... quite a tribute to someone that critics considered the wittiest comedian ever!
