Guy Madison stars as Wild Bill Hickok and Andy Devine is his sidekick, Jingles. This juvenile western adventure series was popular on radio and television. The radio series ran from 1951 to 1956 on the Mutual Radio Network and the television version with the same stars ran from 1951 to 1958 producing 113 episodes. Several of the tv shows were spliced together and released as 16 feature movies by Monogram Pictures from 1952 to 1955. The TV show won an Emmy for Best Western Adventure Series in 1955.
