Adding another episode of the 1937-38 premiere season of "The Shadow" which starred a 23 year-old Orson Welles... it was the only year he played the character of Lamont Cranston (aka The Shadow). Margo Lane was played by Agnes Moorhead. Incidentally the famous laugh and some of the other lines attributed to The Shadow were recorded by the original Shadow - Frank Readick jr. He did the famous laugh by laughing into an empty water glass beside a microphone. It was a cheap way of making a voice sound very different and was often used as part of the sound effects wizardry.
