The Harold Peary Show - Valentine's Day Show - Feb 20, 1951 - Sitcom
Actor Harold Peary(Photo) made a rather significant career mistake in 1949... he went to CBS from NBC during a CBS "Talent Raid!' The problem was the show he starred in on NBC "The Great Gildersleeve" did not go to CBS with him... they hired a new guy who sounded like Harold and even looked like him. It was Willard Waterman. So back at CBS they had to develop a new show for Harold Peary, hence "The Harold Peary Show"... this track has the Valentine's Day show from that short-lived series on Feb 20, 1951.
