A 9 year run on radio and more on television and in motion pictures... Jerry Mather played "The Cisco KId" and Harry Lang was his obligatory humorous partner, "Pancho." These characters were not at all like "O'Henry's" creation of the blood thirsty murdering Cisco Kid. The show had to be cleaned up and sanitized because its target audience was youngsters... so THIS Cisco became known as "The Robin Hood of the West"...
