Mark Twain's 1865 short story of Jim Smiley ... a betting man who would bet on anything including having the best jumping frog in Calaveras County... and he tells the story to the narrator. Short story by Samuel Clemens aka Mark Twain was published in 1867... but written in 1865. This will be stored in "History" Playlist. This story was read many times on the radio... but this is my reading.
