Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 in a single-room log cabin on Sinking Spring Farm in LaRue County, Kentucky. He was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth on April 15, 1865 at the Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C. President Lincoln was 56. Booth was killed in Virginia on April 26, 1865...by Union Cavalry sent to capture him. He was 26.
