Space Patrol was unique in that it was on radio and television, so it was one of the few shows that kids could follow in both mediums. Many of the story lines were the same and in fact the same actors who did the TV program, were on the radio. Ed Kemmer as Commander Buzz Corey of the United Planets Space Patrol. Cadet Happy, portrayed by Lyn Osborn as something like a futuristic Robin character from Bat Man. Often used similar lines... "Smokin' rockets, Buzz!" Virgina Hewitt played the female lead as Carol Karlyle, the daughter of an important leader of the United Planets and was in on all the adventures. The show ran from 1950-55.
