Radio City Playhouse was a drama anthology series on NBC Radio from July 1948 to January 1950. The series featured many New York City radio actors from what was known as "Radio Row"... many very talented people. The series specialized in high energy stories... often life-threatening situations with strong male-female roles Many of the stories were written by then relatively unknown writers... the criteria for getting a show accepted and produced was simple... it had to be a good story.
