With the outbreak of some paralytic polio cases in New York and the discovery of polio virus in wastewater treatment plants there, I put together some information from the World Health Organization and some of my own childhood memories... for some brief comments on the return of the Polio virus and the importance of vaccination in stopping the reoccurrence of this tragic disease.
