Audio Intro presents background on this series, introduces the characters and the actors who portrayed them. This was an extremely popular show during it run of a little over 7 years... from 1947 to 1954... it was broadcast on CBS radio. Cy Howard was the creator of the show. Besides radio there were two films and a tv series... also a stage play. Like I said, it was a popular show Unfortunately, it enforced the concept that blondes were ditzy... other shows did that as well... Burns and Allen... Easy Aces....in reality the women who played these roles were extremely intelligent and tremendous actresses... it was just an unfortunate fad of the time.
