On radio from 1947-54, this was an incredibly popular sit come penned by Cy Howard (also wrote That's My Boy - Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis and The Smothers' Brothers Comedy Hour). Marie Wilson (photo left) played Irma Peterson and Cathy Wilson (photo right) played Jane Stacey. In this episode they both lose their jobs on the same day... in fact Irma gets to type up the letter that she is going to receive that lets her knows she is fired! Al, Irma's boyfriend to the rescue... makes a promise to find a job... a job for Jane and another job for Irma. Yes, his "job" is to find them a job!
