Presented by the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS) General Timberlake (played by Hans Conried) is a veteran with a lot of stories to tell... and though he is retired, he likes to be in "command" and expects people to follow his "commands" ... even civilians. Liz takes a liking to the neighbor, General Timberlake, and decides to invite him over to the house... it is then that Liz discovers she is now in the service with General Timberlake commanding! Funny sitcom with Lucille Ball and Richard Denning as Liz and George Cugat at this point in the series, but when band director and musician Xavier Cugat threated to file a lawsuit over the use of his last name, the Cugats became the Coopers! Good Show. Ran from July of 1948 until March of 1951 producing 124 episodes. Lucille Ball then left the series to begin a new TV series entitled "I Love Lucy" with her real life husband, Desi Arnaz.
