My Favorite Husband - Knitting Baby Booties- Sept. 24, 1948 - Sitcom
A very popular sitcom when it was broadcast on CBS radio from July 5, 1948 until March 31, 1951...producing 124 episodes. Intro to the track has some background material on the series. Co-stars to Lucille Ball and Richard Denning were Hans Conried, Joseph Kearns, and Gale "Mr.Conklin" Gordon (played Mr. Rudolph Atterbury... George's boss at different times in the series. Bea Benaderet - Mrs. Iris Atterbury. Ruth Perrot played Katy, the Cugat's /Cooper's maid, and Eleanor Audley who played George's high-society mother. These episodes have been so popular on the podcast that I have now started a new playlist "My Favorite Husband".
