Ernie "Bubbles" Whitman welcomes The International Sweethearts of Rhythm (17 woman integrated band), Ethel Waters, The Four Vees, Johnny Mercer, and comedian Nickodemus to this 1944 Armed Forces Radio Service Broadcast. Intro has some background on the show, but it was primarily targeted at African American soldiers during WW II to help build morale.
