Audio Intro has brief background on this series. It only lasted one year, but not because it was not a good show. By 1954 television had pretty much decimated radio audiences listening to westerns. They were very popular on television, not so much on radio... and you needed people called "sponsors" to pay the bills... and they needed audiences to listen to sell their products. You get the idea... but enjoy "Dr. Sixgun" is was a unique and well done show. This track will reside in the "Westerns" Playlist on this Soundcloud.com podcast.
