Dr. Kildare The Case of Janet Dane - April 19, 1950 - Medical Drama
We return to another visit with Dr. Kildare (Lew Ayers) as he wrestles with Dr. Gillespie (Lionel "Mr. Potter" Barrymore) in the Case of Janet Dane. Dr. Kildare started on film, spun off to radio, then to television with Richard Chamberlain and Raymond Massey taking over the roles of Dr. Kildare and Dr. Gillespie respectively... that was during the 1960's... so the show in some form or other was around for over 30 years... certainly a remarkable achievement in any form of mass media.
