This show was broadcast just 3 days before Japan surrendered and World War II ended. Songstress, Francis Langford hosts the show which features Spike Jones and His City Slickers and singer Tony Romano. Francis Langford had done many overseas shows for the USO during WW II and was very popular with the servicemen. The show comes from an Army-Air-Force base in Sacramento, California. As usual, Spike Jones and His City Slickers play a few tunes as only Spike Jones and His City Slickers could play them... Francis Langford gets in a couple of numbers as well. All and all an enjoyable show with music and a comedy skit. Spike and the crew play "Siam I Am" and "Blue Danube" ... sort of! :) The show ends with a medley of songs with Francis, Tony, and Spike Jones.
