Baby Snooks - Fifty Dollar Raise and Quizzing Snooks - April 23rd and 30th 1942 - Comedy Skits
Audio intro to the two back-to-back skits gives a brief background on the Baby Snooks program and Fanny Brice who played "Snooks." Hanley Stafford played her father "Daddy" aka Lancelot Higgins. Daddy got a raise of $5 and is going to save up to buy a special fishing rod without his wife knowing about it... and in the second skit, Daddy needs more money so he is entering Snooks in a radio quiz show for kids... hoping she will win some money... but Snooks is making some of her own "deals" with Daddy.
