The book examines the nature of this pharmaceutical dynasty and its massive, instrumental role in the US opioid epidemic. Part Three focuses on the "Legacy" of the family, detailing more lawsuits, more absurd corporate pivoting, protests against Purdue/the Sackler family, and the third generation of Sacklers and how generational wealth tends to create diminishing returns in terms of overall human quality.
