We are conditioned by society to look externally for the source of our challenges. But they are always a symptom of our own making. The more empowering question to ask ourselves is 'how are we contributing to this situation'. We can either negatively react to the challenges thrown at us in a way that aggravates the situation and creates more stress or choose to respond in a positive way that diffuses the situation and maintains our mental and emotional well-being.
