Modularity in Healthcare Construction - Episode #062
Folks we took this week off from a regular publication of Healthcare360 as we enter into the holiday season, BUT this is the first follow up deep dive to what our new Thursday publication will be. So,,,, lets build on
Today's topic as a continuation of my conversation with University of Miami Health System’s Value Analysis Executive Director Nate Yuen. As you all remember there was a specific point in my conversation during episode #059 where Nate referred to modularity in Healthcare, specifically modular wall panels. Nate referred to lessons learned from his role as a driving force in the planning for and coordination of the Mount Sinai Medical Center’s new 7-story Skolnick Surgical Tower and 34K sq ft Hildebrandt Emergency Center, in Miami, FL, simultaneous projects totalling over $275M. This conversation was very insightful and I want to expand on this idea personally, and show how this forward thinking will benefit all of us in healthcare from a patient consumer all the way to healthcare executive leadership levels.
