I was fortunate to be able to visit with Dr. Alejandro Badia - a hand and upper extremity surgeon at his home in Miami, I wanted to bring him onto Healthcare 360 and discuss his push to change access to orthopedic care. Naturally an entrepreneur, he saw a problem and now he is fixing it. Dr. Badia saw the waste of time and resources patients exhausted before finally seeing a specialist like him, and that is where OrthoNOW, an urgent care center for Orthopaedic issues, began.
