Hosts Gregg Masters and Fred Goldstein welcome Denise Hines, former Chief Americas Officer for HIMSS as well as a member of the board. Denise holds a Doctorate in Health Administration and is a certified, Project Management Professional and HIMSS Fellow. Denise discusses a range of topics from connectivity to maternal and child health, to the social determinates of health driving health disparities and inequities in the U.S. which CDC defines as wholly preventable.

Dr. Hines is an award-winning, nationally recognized expert in healthcare technology. She has more than two decades of healthcare experience in a variety of settings, including health systems, physician offices, home health, technology vendors, consulting, state government and revenue management.

Dr. Hines was named Chief Americas Officer for the Health Information & Management Systems Society (HIMSS) in January, 2019. She has been a member of the HIMSS Board of Directors and is the Chair Emeritus for HIMSS North America Board of Directors. She is the past president of the HIMSS Georgia Chapter and was recognized as the 2012 HIMSS Chapter Leader of the Year, with Georgia HIMSS named the 2012 Chapter of the Year.
