The process of running a laboratory economically is a specialized task with some extreme pressures of staffing availability, supplies, regulatory compliance and integration into a frictionless patient experience. We need to create broader access to laboratory testing at the local level that goes beyond the home-based testing and basic testing services offered in physician offices.
