Many health care organizations in the United States don’t know what their own services actually cost. This is one of the reasons the U.S. spends more than twice as much on health care as other developed countries. In this podcast, Dr. Kyle Bradford Jones is joined by Dr. Bob Pendleton, Chief Medical Quality officer for the University of Utah, to discuss how the University of Utah Hospital went about finding out what the health services cost.
