Dr. Price sheds light on the pros and cons of private and public healthcare and what that will mean for patients in the future. Safe supply is the administration of illicit drugs to people with substance abuse disorders. A 2020 Ontario study indicated 87% of opioid deaths were related to contaminated fentanyl. Dr. Price and I discuss how safe supply may help decrease overdoses, but we still need to provide patients with treatment.
