History Bhoys Abroad - 30 - European Cup QF '67

Published: May 25, 2017, 3 a.m.

We have arrived at episode 30 of the History Bhoys Abroad. It coincides with the 50th anniversary of Celtic's most triumphant year. The year that helped shape our identity as Celtic fans and where legends became Gods. It also marks 1 full year of us being a podcast. We bring you the European Cup quarter final of 1967 against FC Vojvodina, from the former Yugoslavia. A round that was considered the toughest of the entire season. A final before a final. For this, we were joined by Milosevic, a Novi Sad based Vojvodina fanatic, historian and club ambassador to talk about the Yugoslavian champions and their system, and on behalf of Celtic, we had the great 'Tweet Celtic 67' Twitter Tim, James, to share the build up to these ties. We also give a quick preview of the upcoming Scottish Cup Final and say thanks to Kris Commons.
