What is your true value in life? Just as a painter paints a painting which will have a monetary value, we are reminded that we too have a certain vaule in life. Dasaratha (the father of Shri Raam and King of Ayodhya) was a champion of Dharma. He retained his true value as a devotee of the Lord and was not tainted by the materialism of this world. He always focused himself on the performance of Dharma (righteousness).
