Politics in Sports

I think we've all heard this line before, "I don't want no politics in my sports" and quite frankly, that line drives me absolutely nuts. I hate to burst some of your bubbles, but sports and politics have been in bed for decades. From Jackie Robinson, Jim Thorpe, UFC fight decisions, sports franchises decided to leave a city/state, politics really dictate a lot of our sporting events. The NCAA was formed because Teddy Roosevelt didn't want college athletes to continuously change schools. And now the NCAA pretty much controls almost all college athletes livelihoods. So to say sports and politics don't mix, is disingenuous. Join Robinhood with my link and we'll both get a gift stock for the holidays! https://join.robinhood.com/vladimj60
