Sarah interviews Karen Stefano about her new memoir, What a Body Remembers: A Memoir of Sexual Assault and Its Aftermath. As a UC Berkeley student in the 80s, Karen was assaulted and held at knife point. She managed to escape unharmed, but the experience, along with the ensuing court trial, left a lasting mark of anxiety and PTSD. This is the story of Karen's experience and how she came through to the person she is today.
