October 31, 2017 marked the 500th anniversary of the Reformation when Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the church door in Wittenberg. Sarah talks first about this historic event and what led Luther to write those theses. She then looks at the texts assigned for this Sunday, known as Reformation Sunday: Jeremiah 31:31-34, Psalm 46, Romans 3:19-28, and John 8:31-36.
