Dana and Tom welcome back six-time returning guest, Christine Duncan, to discuss one of the most popular movies of the 80s as well as the the movie that made Tom Cruise a movie star just in time for the sequel coming out on May 27th, Top Gun: directed by Tony Scott, written by Jim Cash and Jack Epps, Jr., starring Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, Anthony Edwards, Kelly McGillis, and Tom Skeritt.

Plot Summary: Naval Aviator Lt. Pete \\u201cMaverick\\u201d Mitchell (Tom Cruise) after a brush with a MiG-28 is sent to the Navy\\u2019s Top Gun school with his RIO, LTJG Nick \\u201cGoose\\u201d Bradshaw. While at Top Gun, Maverick becomes involved with Charlotte \\u201cCharlie\\u201d Blackwood (Kelly McGillis), a civilian instructor at the school, when she learns of his infamous reputation. Setting out to prove he\'s the best, Maverick finds a fierce rival in Tom "Ice-Man" Kazansky (Val Kilmer) for the right to the Top Gun trophy awarded to the top finisher in Top Gun schooling. However, after a heartbreaking loss, Maverick suddenly loses his confidence, and must find a way to fight through to prove to everyone who is truly the best.
