#62: Becoming a Doctor: Ruchi Gupta, MD, MPH on her medical and personal journey

Ruchi Gupta, MD, MPH is a Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a Clinical Attending at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

She has more than 15 years of experience as a board-certified pediatrician and health research, and currently serves as the director of the Science and Outcomes of Allergy + Asthma Research Program. With the help of her research team, she has determined the prevalence of childhood food allergy prevalence in US and the pediatric management of both food allergy and asthma and improving the quality of life for children, caregivers. She has over 100 publications, is featured on the Netflix series Rotten Episode 2, and has been featured in the New York Times, CNN, NBC Nightly News and more.
