Prayer For the Week:
Almighty God, thank you for the great cloud of witnesses who have finished their course and now rest from their labors. Thank you for the legacy they have left us; legacies that remind us to not dwell on past mistakes, but instead to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and press on toward the prize ahead. Help us to learn from, and be inspired by, all the saints who have gone before us. And help us to leave legacies that lead generations to come into a deep and abiding relationship with you. May all that we say and do, point to you and bring you glory. We pray all of this in the strong name of Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
