We saw last week that although David was strong in some areas he was also weak and broken in others. Now David is dead and his son Solomon is reigning. Just like in David’s life we will see some great things about Solomon but also some areas of weakness. The main point of this lesson is that Solomon wasn’t perfect (we see his sin) but he did ultimately show dependence on God. As he depended upon God, God did great things through him.
