b'Jesus calls those who trust Him and those who follow Him salt and light. Why would Jesus call us salt and light? Salt and light exist to benefit others. It enhances the lives of others. If we are truly salt and light than not only are we fulfilling the mission of Christ but we are being of benefit to those around us. If we are salt and light we do not get a break, because that is what Christ has called us to be. Pastor Juli encouraged us to examine our choices and examine our life. Are we being salt and light? If not than we have to conclude that we are not truly following or trusting Christ. As Christ changes us and as we yield to the Holy Spirit we will have no other choice but to be salt and light and as a result we will be of benefit to others, pointing them to Christ who has offered life to all of humanity.'
