Judge Jesus will get it right.

The Christian life is lived "in between." The incredible things that God declares about us and promises to us are often hidden in a life that looks no different from anyone else's - maybe even worse. And yet, as we live in the space between appearance and reality, we find hope in the fact that this space was once occupied by Jesus too. When he appears, so will the reality of all we are - and all we have - in him! This week we look specifically at our in between judgment. Based on external factors, the life of a Christian might look no more worthy for eternal life than anyone else’s (sometimes even worse!). However, it is not our external works that provide the basis of Jesus’ judgment. Rather it is our trust in his already-completed work on our behalf. We can look forward to the judgment we will receive because it comes from him.
