Idols are things you value over having faith in God and that He will provide what you need. Just as clothes that no longer fit us need to be let go for others to enjoy, when we are spiritually growing in God\'s Love there are things that no longer fit to who God has created us to be. God created us perfectly just the way we are naturally, so the closer I got to God the less I wanted things that changed how I looked or needed "man made" things to make me feel better about who I was. Letting go to God feels like "freedom and love with wings" When I am doing what God calls me to do I know He has a great purpose for me in that calling.
